Author (Can't Fail Color Schemes) and color expert Amy Wax zeroes in on choosing colors exclusively for the kitchen and bath.
One of the most difficult decorating choices a homeowner has to make concerns selecting colors for tile, stone, cabinets, fixtures, and other elements in a kitchen or bathroom. Even the "safe" neutral route has many pitfalls...all beiges are not equal! And even professional designers may have a hard time finding the right shade of granite to coordinate with the colors of the stain used on the cabinets, the tile floor, the faucets, and so forth.
Permanent features...countertops, floors, cabinets, plumbing fixtures...are expensive to replace, and homeowners can't afford to simply swap them out if they don't match. That's why all homeowners need the advice and visual guidance of Can't Fail Color Schemes--Kitchens & Baths.
